Start getting up on time

It is of course very nice to be able to stay in bed a little longer. Yet it is better to get up on time when the children have to go to school. It is best to put your alarm clock half an hour earlier from now on, then you know for sure that you have all the time. When your child decides to put on something else, it saves a lot of stress for half an hour earlier. And remember: the less stressed you are, the easier and faster the morning runs.


Good start is half the battle

Another handy tip is to prepare your children's school supplies or clothing in the evening. Then you don't have to hurry in the morning and you prevent you from forgetting important things. You can also prepare breakfast or the school lunch for your children. That way you only have to dress your child and have breakfast together. Wonderful start to the day we say it ourselves!


Use a wake-up light to wake up nicer

A wake-up light can help your child get up on time and get out of bed independently. Getting out of bed and preparing for school also gives your child a lot of confidence and helps with development. All this while you can already prepare yourself for the day. Do you not know what kind of wake-up light you have to choose? Choose a permanent place where you put things

You can prevent a lot of frustrations and shouting back and forth in the morning if you give things a permanent place in the house. Your child can then find all the stuff himself, and perhaps more importantly, you also teach your child to clean everything up again. Should this not go according to plan or does your child occasionally let some things swing around? Do not panic. Then you can already prepare everything or put it back in place in the evening.


Take time for breakfast

Whether breakfast is the most important meal of the day or not, always take the time to have breakfast with your child. This is not only an important moment to talk about the day together, you also teach your child a healthy diet. In addition, breakfast does not have to be that complicated at all. Brown sandwiches with a glass of milk is enough.
